After you had your children did you find that you got offended or upset about the slightest thing?

I cant remember if I did or not, but I'm forever managing to upset my friend without actually saying or doing anything.

She has said rather a lot of offensive and patronising stuff to me lately but I'm letting it go as she isnt normally like this.

I think it could be a sign of PND, but she's adament it's not and then I get a load of verbal abuse from her for suggesting it.

Is it PND or just over sensitivity due to have a baby 2 months ago.

Please help me as I'm trying not to loose my temper with her, but it getting difficult to have a "normal" relationship without feeling like I am constantly treading on eggshells.

I did - I had PND. That's not me saying she's prob got PND, but it was true in my case. I think all most new mums have raging hormones, are tired, struggling a bit and constantly questioning themselves - not a good combo. When they 'feel' criticised (which can take VERY little) it's all too much to take! I'd carefully, but quite bluntly, say how you feel and explain how hard you find it to be her friend. Not forgetting to add that you do still want to be her very much!
