Who do your dcs think is the coolest person in the world?

and why?
and do you agree?

My dcs (3 and 5) have just had a visit from their Japanese auntie and are in love with her because she brought them lots of cool Japanese sweets (eg whistling candy, and 'boobytrapped' sweets where one in the packet is very sour) and gave them piggyback rides. DD announced that she thinks her auntie is 'the best person in the whole wide world.'
I think she is pretty cool too Smile

what about yours?

Their 'Uncle' (not related at all, our oldest friend and godfather to ds1)

He plays with them for hours when he visits and has a really lovely way with them. They adore him and cry when he has to leave.

And yes i agree... he's fantastic with them, lets them go mad playing but doesn't let them overstep the mark, perfectly balances being their playmate with being a responsible adult.

jamie and adam from Mythbusters are ds1's heroes (he's 9)

VivaLeBeaver · 31/08/2010 11:04

Lady Gaga, DD is 9.

dd1 hero worships her swimming teacher since she taught her to do a handstand in the pool.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 31/08/2010 11:49

My DD idolises her cousin. She's only ever seen her about 5 or 6 times due to us living out of the UK, but if I want her to do anything I'll tell her that Ella used to always do X or Ella loves X etc. The fact that Ella is 5 years older and probably wouldn't be seen dead in whatever I want her to wear or how I want her to have her hair cut is neither here nor there. Long live Ella and her influence.

One of his mate's dad. He is a movie star. Wink

A proper A-lister official Hollywood type. DS1 had no idea until just a little while ago when he was finally old enough to see the movie he is famous for - before that he was just "Mates Dad".

Ds1 13 dappy from n-dubz (I am horrified by this by the way)
dd 11 loves kate nash and pixie lott in equal measure
ds2 7 loves his big brother more than anyone and cries if he is not coming home
ds3 6 loves me, he has to touch me every time he is near, just a quick pat or stroke of the arm, he is very sweet.

emskilou · 31/08/2010 12:11

At the moment it is me because I have done lots of special things this year which is very sweet of them :)

One of them was 'you got old but you didn't get any wrinkles which is nice becuase we dont like wrinkly faces and we'd have to get you a new face'

No doubt I will be replaced by Hello Kitty, Iron Man, Spiderman, Batman, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, but I will enjoy my moment :)

WelcometotheJungle · 31/08/2010 12:14
