After about 1.5 hours. DD is just 12 months.

Any ideas?

Am I a bit late now? I wonder if the waterproof backing breaks down after lots of washing, a bit like a waterproof coat would. I'm having similar problems with my pop-ins. Presumably, other nappies would suffer similarly, but it isn't something people seem to complain about.

No, thanks for replying. I'm not sure what the problem is. They've only had about 6 months use between 2 DDs. Never had the same with any other wrap.

build up of detergent maybe? Is your water hard? You could try a stripping wash?
Or with microfibre if a vest is too tight it puts pressure on the microfibre and it wicks out. You could try a larger vest and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks smacs, the good old Scottish water is pretty soft. Also she's not wearing any vests atm :)

I've had the same experience - the PUL seems to break down very quickly :(
