Any babywearers out there?

Thats probably the wrong word.... I don't do it all the time, but have a moby wrap and ds loves it - he's a nosey baby and has never been a big sleeper in the day so loves to have cuddles whilst seeing the world...

we have used it in a few different holds - newborn hug, the facing out one, and hip hold

all fab until today! DS (now 7.5 months) decides to try and throw himself out the wrap to get at something he spotted - luckily he couldn't do this but managed to get his arm out of the safety of the wrap and destabilise the whole thing! (was in hip hold - current fav)

Anyone recommend any holds so he can fidget / see things without trying to kill himself? Or another wrap / sling more suitable for this age ?

thanks!

dd is 9 months and she can get her hands out tummy to tummy and forward facing but cannot escape. I pull the outer wrap very high to prevent this though.

When I have an older baby in the face out position I put their arms/hands under the fabric coming down and bring the outer wrap right up under their armpits.
