I have a 14 month old girl. She is a gorgeous, cuddly red head and I adore her to pieces.

However I am finding her exhausting at the moment! I also have a 4 year old boy so I went through this stage with him, but I had forgotten that the ages of 1-2 can be hard going.

I think it is a combination of factors. Just age and stage, teething and frustration. She can't walk yet but is desperate I think to be like her big brother

She was a very placid, happy baby but recently she has been very clingy, moany and loud.

Meal times, especially tea are very stessful. She likes her routine and an afternoon nap but I have had to settle my ds into pre school this week.

Argh! Just a moan really. I am exhausted and wonder if any wise mums have some good tips for getting through this stage?

No tips, but lots of sympathy. My DD is about to turn 14 months and we have exactly the same situation here. Not walking, but wants to walk on my fingers all day, cruising and climbing (how can they climb when they can't walk??) and throwing herself off the furniture head first...pointing during mealtimes at things she thinks she wants and then throwing them on the floor...she's also very vocal, has probably about 20 words now and does like to make herself heard...

And number two is due in less than three months time... EEK!!
