Gah- calpol makes minigrump manic!

Sooo, one tooth in, two scything their way through as we speak. have been piggybacking calpol/calprofen as minigrump is in a lot of pain and it's the only thing that has stopped her tears (also teething gel, ashton and parsons, etc).
Now have totally manic child. Has this happened to anyone else? Bah.

yup my dc are like this with calpol. I never give the last dose within an hour or so of bedtime can't have any of the inuprofen type things due to their asthma.

No ideas what else to try, just buckets of sympathy

Same with my son.

See if you can find the kind without any colouring in it. I am not really a believer that red dye causes mania, but I do know the colour free stuff doesn't make my son manic.
