Because I think the majority of us berate ourselves too much. Well, we do, don't we? Here goes...

Whenever DS (age 3) has a mega-tantrum to the point where I feel like slapping the stroppiness out of him, I always make sure I:

(a) give him a second chance to be good (which always works, bless him); and
(b) end the whole episode with cuddles, kisses and reminders of how much I love him.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I often worry that I am grumpy to the children, don't do enough with them etc etc

Recently walking down the road dc (ds 11, dd4) were chatting and ds says we have such a lovely mum don't we dd she does lots of fun things with us etc etc etc.

Was lovely to hear and very boosting as I have been stressing about not doing much with them (clearly I do more than I feel )

Ahhh, what a lovely thing to say! Clearly you're not half as grumpy as you think!
