Proof that I've psychologically damaged my child...

Bought some clothes for myself and dd in - wait for it - Matalan (yes, I do live a life of luxury ). Got home, realized there was a mark on one of the tops for dd. Next day went to take it back - dd1 said to me from the back of the car "What happens when the lady in Matalan gets angry?" Me:"Why should she get angry?" dd1: "Because if you make a mark on your clothes people get angry!"

Made me feel v. guilty about being every so slightly anal about stains on clothes... but it does drive me mad when dd1 and dd2 go to my MIL where they are allowed to throw the food around at their hearts' content, and end up with chocolate stains everywhere - which does make me angry, if more at my MIL than at my dd's.
Feel a bit of a bad mummy now.

I used to worry, now I just have a bucket with vanish tablets in it, on the go all the time.

My DS is a muck magnet.

ACE is what you need and you will never ever worry about stains in clothes!

all kids say things to embarass us. thats why they are called kids.
i once used the f word, in extreme anger at dh, which my ds overheard. i thought he was asleep . he then used it in playground, and said his mother taught it to him
