Childminder been de-registered....

I have had a letter through from OFSTED today saying that DD's childminder has been de-registered post investigation :(

In Feb, a little boy she was looking after fell and got a black eye. She did not see this happen and they suspended her as the mum had queried it. We were interviewed by SS and our GP was as well. Since then they have continued to suspend her pending "further investigation".

What does this mean? That they found something? I have tried asking them for more info before but they would not tell me anything due to "data protection".

Feel like SUCH a rotten mummy now. I could have potentially had my child in neglected care for 5 months. Thank god she only went 1 day a week.

Oh goodness its not your fault! Im sure you feel a bit sick though that it could have been your child.

Sorry no advice on how to find out more..

They wont tell you anything whilst the investigation continues

This happened to a friend - she was suspended pending investigation but everything was unfounded

The investigation is finished. So will they now tell me what they found? The letter is very very vague so I doubt they will. It's really horrible of them, how do they think it makes us feel?
