So do birth to potty nappies really last from birth to potty?

I only ask because I recently bought my 7month old her first reusable nappies. I know they are advertised at birth to potty. (35 lbs I think) but they look like they will be too small for her in a month or two. She is on the second last popper in each nappy.

Dh says they will fit until potty training her as her bum won't get much bigger. What do you think?

Babies do change shape too, especially when they start walking, so you might find you go back a popper or two. That said I think some of the B2P don't really fit toddlers as they are short in the rise (up the back)

Got tot's Bots Birth to Potty on 16month old Ds at the moment.

Lionstar is right about the short rise but I think Ds actually prefers it and no leaks yet. Not even on a 12 hour night. And my Ds moves in his sleep, A Lot.

DD2 fit into her bumgenius until she was almost 3years. She was dry through the day but wore them on a night and they fit fine. Shes slim but has chubby legs and they wernt tight or anything.

My son is nearly 3 and I put a Bumgenius on him the other day (to be like his new baby brother!) and it fitted fine. He is skinny and very tall.

Ds1' MEOS fit him up till potty training - it's true that as they grow older they get skinnier round the bum so the nappies still fit.

My son is 2 next month and had been in cloth nappies since he was 6 weeks old. We had mainly Kushies Ultra and ImseVimse Contours B2P, but a few others too. Heightwise, he has grown out of the ImseVimse B2P, and the Kushies biggest size. Also Slinky Minkies, Swaddlebees, MotherEase and TotsBots largest size - none of these are long ebough to cover his hips. He is v tall though, and has been mistaken for 3 even though he is not yet 2. The B2P/largest size nappies may go up to potty training for small girls, but not my tall boy!

I got some Bambinex Easy Comfort B2Ps as they were recommended for tall babies. Lovely to use, super fit, lots of growing room, quick to dry, but leaked like a sieve, to the extent that I got my money back.

I didn't have any problem but have very small children!

I use bumbles which are birth to potty, and they have a way poppering it which makes it higher in the rise for bigger babies (I never needed to use it on mine, it still fits him now age 2.8 for night times.) Also you can add extra boosters which is brill as the only problem I've had is nappies are threadbare after being used simultaneously on baby and toddler.

depends on which brand you bought. BG (V1, 2 & 3) are notorious for being out grown. not so much with v4s tho! the new easyfits also fit my 4 year old (tried it on to see)

i found all my kids have outgrown btp pockets, but in my experiance when they are too big for the pockets they are usually weeing to much to contain in a pocket anyway and we switch to fitteds and wrap/wool/fleece.
