changing the brand of formula milk??

just wondering if it is ok to change the brand of formula milk for my little one...he is 5 weeks old...money is very tight and he seems to be on the most expensive formula was wondering if its safe to change to a different one? i wont do it if it isnt xx

they are all very similar so I wouldnt think it would make much difference. Try it and see - if it doesnt suit you can always go back to the one you had in the first place.

Change. Some suited DS better than others. We eventually settled on one as he drank it ok and seemed fine on it

Yes, it's fine, might get some odd nappies as he adjusts. First dc changed 3 times to one that agreed with him and later hungrier formula with no ill effect.

I take it you milk has dried up? Expressing can be very cheap - but time consuming!

We changed from SMA to Omneo Comfort because SMA gave my dd constipation. (Think Omneo Comfort is called something else now - was 6 years ago.) I remember she was quite windy for a couple of days, but other than that ok.

My DD was exclusively FF, we lived in Oman and the supply was sporadic to say the least. She doesn't seem to have suffered as a result of having at least five different sorts in her first year of life.
