My 10 year old DD is heading fast into puberty, so I wanted to buy some pads for her to keep in her drawer just in case, Thing is though, I havent periods for about 9 years, so have no clue on whats available anymore!

What would you recommend as a starter pack? What make/size etc? Im so rusty at all this now!

I've just done this maduggar! I don't thinkm my DD is anywhere near, but I got some just in case

i just went and chose teh smallest, thin ones I could find. The brand I got are selling them with a free tin to keep em in at hte mo too

I have used Always since they came out. The ones in the green packets with wings would probably be useful to start with :)

Thanks! Might look out for those with the free tin, try & make it a bit more "fun" for her (like it can ever be fun!!). Im dreading it all tbh, but at least ill be prepared!

I got the light green packet of Always for my 10 yo dd - she keeps a couple in the "secret" pocket of her schoolbag and the rest in her drawer.

I'll never forget the girl in my primary school class crying in the toilets cos she thought she was dying!! Prepare your daughters!

Has your DD started already Weegie? My DD hasnt yet, but has definite breast buds! So Im guessing its not far away? How did she/you cope with it?
