And I'm dreading it!!
My only child starts tomorrow, and given that I'm 25 weeks pg, my hormones are also raging. I'm not worried for ds, cos he just can't wait! But it all seems like such a bind at the moment. I work three long weekdays from home, so Mondays and Fridays are my days off, but from tomorrow I'll have to get him up, dressed and at school by 9am. This is all at a time when I feel like I should be starting to relax and wind down. Tbh I'm not really looking for advice or anything, just needed to rant :-)

Awww I'm sure you will settle into a routine & start to enjoy those precise few hours in the morning to yourself before dc2 comes along Smile
My dd starts school in two weeks time .

((hugs)) in an unmumsnetty way!!

Are you in Glasgow - our guys are back tomorrow too, though into p3, 4, and 6 (dd1 is even a "buddy" this year!!!)

Hope it all goes well - it will be weird, but its also amazing to watch them taking this huge step!

thanks, both! He got on great, altho I was never worried about him!!

weegie, in Lanarkshire. a few schools seem to be going back tomorrow, not sure why theyre all different this year!

elmofan, good luck when DD starts :). If you're like me, it'll be the two days building up to school that you find the hardest. Of course I shed a wee tear yesterday, but I was more bursting with pride at how well he got on with it all. x
