Ds4 will only wear pockets.

Accidentally posted this in Feminism last night and got scant replies!

Ds4 will only wear pocket nappies. If I put a tots or Itti Bitti on him he gets very cross and tells me to put it back and points to the nappy stacker and selects either a Coolababy or a Weenotions SS. Not sure why unless it it that he can feel the wetness a bit more with the other nappies.

Anyone else had this? It is very annoying as he is still a heavy wetter at night and I find the pockets wick.

how old is he? having a preference to dryer nappies (fleece/minkee lined) indicates PTing ime! :o

I know, I know!He is my youngest and I don't know if I'm ready, never mind him! Also not sure if he is up for all the pulling-up and pulling-down of pants.

Will probably try next couple of weeks but have to get a potty. Ds3 destroyed our other ones so will have to get new ones for ds4.

ahh start him straight on the toilet, much easier!

how good is his language? can he tell you why he doesn't like them?

i would maybe insist on a different sort for nighttime tbh, if the wicking is a big problem
i wonder if the wraps are uncomfortable? have you tried loosening them a little?

actually, we did have this, you've just reminded me. ds2 did always want to wear a minki nappy at night.

Actually, tiy, think I will start him on the toilet but still need to get a little potty for out and about. We had one that folded flat but had too many little crevices in it and ds3's aim was not great!

Oh, I don't want to be finished with nappies forever!
