How many times a day do your dc bang their heads?

My ds is just over 11mo, pulling himself up and walking with his push along walker. I don't leave him on his own and yet today he has fallen and banged his head or face 5 times! He is covered in bruises and marks. Is this normal? Should I be worried. Wonder if he will have an brain cells left!

mine all feel over at a young age. Think it is normal. We have had the eggs on the forehead.

As they have got older they have all broken a front tooth too Blush

Completely normal. If my 14 month old isn't hitting his head by falling over while walking, he does it by pulling himself up on something and then falling over. Grin

Arnica is your friend.

My son used to actually go and bang his head against things. He did it right on the sharp corner of a cupboard once and had to go to hospital. They didn't seem too concerned. Seemed to think a certain amount of head banging was normal (and that was self inflicted head banging, so I'm sure nobody thinks anything of accidental head banging). :)

My 3 yr old falls over all the time and has very frequent 'eggs' on her forehead. Arnica is in constant use in our house.

Because my DD falls over a lot (balance problems) we've been told to watch out for particular signs such as not crying or if her pupils look dilated after a fall. Otherwise we'd be in A&E a lot!
