reusable wipes in nursery?

dd will start nursery in a few weeks. unfortunately she gets nappy rash every time we use baby wipes so at home we use cotton wool and water or camomile tea.
they have a "wipes only" policy, so I wonder if it would be OK to give them reusables in a box or ziploc bag for the day.
any experience with that?

our nursery uses tissues and plain water - if their policy is wipes only' then i think this implies they should be dispoable.
talk to them
perhaps a box of sheets of kitcjen roll moistened with water / tea?

If your daughter is allergic to wipes then the nursery are required by ofsted to respect parents wishes as its a medical condition. They HAVE to use which ever method is best for your child and cannot refuse to take them because of an allergy as its discrimination. If they do report them lol.

I send reusable wipes to nursery although they haven't told me that they have any policy on them. They don't always use them but I'm sure if ds was sensitive to wipes like your dd and I insisted then they would. I just put a wee tupperware box of already wet wipes in the bag. We do use cloth nappies so they just go in the bag with the nappy to come home.

I use cheeky wipes (would be easy to do your own version) and they're so easy to use I don't see why any nursery wouldn't use them. The tupperware box of clean moist wipes goes in the morning and they just need to stick them in the wet bag so you can pick up in the evening. My DS isn't in nursery yet, but all the nurseries I've looked at are fine about using washable nappies and wipes.

If I were you I'd insist on it!

the cheeky wipes look good, I think I can replicate this.
spoke to the nursery this morning and they say reusables are ok.

I am glad the nursery sees no problem with reusable wipes. Just make sure you have a large stash of wipes ready at short notice.

I have worked in nurseries in the past and they tend to be a bit chaotic. Things are accidentally thrown out or lost all the time.
