Nappy Liners with disposables

This is probably a silly question, but do you put a liner in a disposable nappy? I visited a friend yesterday and noticed when changing her toddler, she rolled up the dirty disposable nappy, put it in a nappy sack, which she later threw in the dustbin. I suppose there's no alternative in the circumstances, but my concern is all that poo going into landfill! I've always used terries with disposable nappy liners, so the poo can easily be flushed down the toilet.

yes you could use liners with disposables, but if someone is unconcerned enough about the environment to use disposables then they are unlikely to be bothered with the extra effort of using a liner. And a disposbable nappy, especiallone wrapped in a nappy sack is not going to break down anyway so in all reality that poo is probably just going to stay wrapped in its own warm comfy bed!!!
