Rainy weekend with baby. Inspiration please?

I'm finding the thought of today and the weekend daunting, so all ideas would be welcome. DH working all weekend, everyone I know locally, with or without babies, seems to be away, my car is out of action and it's forecast rain all weekend! What can I fill 11 mo DD's days with?? I'm not averse to the odd walk in the rain, but can't do that the whole time. She's a cruising, highly active, rarely sleeping, highly intense typical 11 month old. I'm knackered before we start! Help!

I was contemplating this very issue yesterday with my nearly 14 month old. I do believe I am going to take every blanket in the house, move some furniture around, and build a fort in the front room. Said fort will then be used to have the picnic that we were going to have in the park this weekend.

Fort is also useful for just general playing in.

Ball pool
Tents and tunnels
Painting
Cornflour and water.
Fill a paddling pool with pasta/jelly/baked beans. Or even just coloured bubbly water.
Newspaper shreddding
Dancing

Thanks, some good ideas. Making a fort will reveal all the filthy bits of floor I've been hiding, leading to hoover fun as well (she loves following it around). I might go for the really messy stuff tomorrow, making jelly up overnight. Can't handle the baked beans, I'm afraid!!
