Help! dd is 19 months and tells me each time she has a poo (after the event) and if she has no nappy on (just before bath time) she sometimes says wee wee but not quite in time to get the potty out. Do you think she is ready for to go for it with potty training or is she still too young - I was expecting to start around 2-2.5. Any advice gratefully received!

Getting there I'd say, depends on your time and inclination. If you have plenty of both I'd give her a go, in a nice and relaxed manner. If not, give it another few weeks and re-assess.

My dd is 2.5 and almost there. Out of nappies during the day but still having quite a few 'accidents' mainly poo's. She knows exactly what she's doing, just often too wrapped up in what she's doing to bother going on the potty.

I've been tryingher on anf off since she was about 18 months - finally feel like i'm getting there now.
