are newborns meant to be on the breast ALL the time? I don't mind, but just remind me?

also, how long til milk comes in as opposed to colostrum?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Bless you Sophable didn't know you had had a baby. Congrats.

In answer to your question - god knows.

katechristie · 30/07/2010 14:29

milk tends to come around day 3 or 4. If BF is soothing your DC, then yes, fairly normal to be on quite a lot - the suckling now will be helping bump up your supply when the milk does come in . congratulations! (Was amazed how much I'd forgotten 2nd time round)

InmyheadIminParis · 30/07/2010 14:35

Hi Sophable - Huge congratulations. DC2 fed all the time from day one. Milk comes in day 3 ish... watch out for the day 3 tears.
Enjoy your lovely new baby.
