Where to see re-usables so I can make a decision

Hello ,

We want to use reusable nappies when our baby is born in October and although I have seen loads of different kinds on the internet and in magazines I want to go to a shop and look at them to help me decide. Does anyone know where I can go in London/Kent where more than one brand are stocked?

Thank you!

Some companies have agents that will do demos - lollipop (www.teamlollipop.co.uk/advisornearyou.html) and babykind (babykind.co.uk) definitely do them and I'm sure there are others. Both Lollipop and Babykind stock more than one brand of nappy.

Green Baby stock the Motherease and Itti Bitti nappies. They have a shop in Greenwich.

Not a wide selection I know but these two were on my shortlist when I was choosing, and was very glad to be able to see and feel them. The Motherease ones were huuuuuge and had very poor elastication around the legs which didn't show up on the web, for example.

The Ittis were gorgeous and I went totally overboard buying them in all sorts of colours!

If you are in south London come round to my house and I'll show you my stash!

The Baby Show will be at Earls Court towards the end of Oct, which I realise will be after your baby is born, but there are usually lots of brands to look at, & good discounts too!

Thanks for info. I have looked at the nanny lady website and have recommendations from her so at least I know what I want to see a demo of now!
