that's what i was asked by DD (4) today. i told her that it's not nice to call people 'fat'. i am 15.5 stone, so i am not exactly thin.

me: "why do you love me? do you love because of how i look?"
DD: "no, i love you for your hugs. and kisses. and because you make me dinner. and because you put me to bed at night."

and that made me smile.

I was mobbed by a bunch of three year olds shouting 'you're squashy' when I picked ds up from nursery the other day (pregnant and huge)

Ooh - makes me cringe to think that my DS (4) has noticed I am fat - and at 16 st I know I am. He made one comment a while ago about my big tummy but that it about it. But I suppose the time is coming where other kids may tease him.

I am really struggling with motivation to diet a the moment. I lost 2 stone last year and have gained 3. Feeling very despondent but don't seem to be able to get psyched to stick to a diet.

Any suggestions gratefully received!
