Hello, I need recommendations for books for a 4 yr old about skin colour and race. My dd had a clash at nursery with a little boy and ever since then she has developed a big dislike for 'boys' with black skin. We have tried to do the whole skin colour makes no difference, all people look different no matter what their skin colour is.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's a book called 'All kinds of people' which talks about skin colour, skin type (pale, freckles, etc). And another one called 'All kinds of bodies' which explores differences such as disability and race.

Bought them for DS1 when he was 4 (now 9). DS2 loves them (just turned 5)
