It looks sooo lush..but small, not sure how long medium will last?

Also slightly gutted as i feel after a few types this could be the nappy but know i wont get away with buying them at their price

Steph Have you had a look on cheeks and cherries? They seem to be selling rather reasonably there at the moment. Also you can sell them on afterwards as well for a good price. So you'll get some of your money back.

Not sure how flexible your budget is, but I've noticed quite a few people selling mediums secondhand on cloth nappy tree, lately.

(I'm after larges, and I keep getting excited and then realising it's another medium for sale .)

ok thanks illhave a look.

my dh has just given the go ahead to order

Not sure how many to get as what he doesnt realise is that they are sized.

How far did medium take you?

IM wondering whether to order large..ds is 15lb ish..but coolababy really gapped on what i thought were his chubby legs

Hi steph,
My DS's medium itti lasted till he was about 20 - 21lbs.
He's got real chunky thighs & is now 10 months & just a bit under 24lbs. ( I know, he's a chubba! )
I bought a couple of large ittis & I think I probably could have got them for him earlier & just used all the popper options. He hasn't had them on the smallest two popper options ever since I bought them.- Think I'd be tempted to go for large, but hear what some other ladies say first.
Hope this helps.
& hope you enjoy & love them as much as I do!

steph1512 · 27/07/2010 21:56

Thanks woobie..have you tried a coolababy? thats all i have to compare to (apart form the giant MEOS) but the coolababy really gapped on ds's legs! Thats the only thing putting me off the medium! we have explsions too!

We cant use ittis as they just wont fit DD at all and keep leaking had to sell all mine. Got a good price though so u should get ur money back if he grows out of them!

steph1512 · 28/07/2010 14:28

oh no peachybums..why was that, were her are her legs tiny?

ds nappy really leajed when i tried coolababy but he had the itti on for ages and no leaks, but since ive read alot about them leaking so i hesistant to order too many now as he hasnt exploding in the one ive got yet

I'm loving my itti's! Have managed with 4 nappies & 8 extra sets of inserts. Never had any leaks whereas I was sooo disapointed with coolababy. Maybe my dd is still too small for that brand? I think buying extra inserts makes them a lot more economical & the outer bit dries so fast you don't need loads at all. DD just about grown out of small itti's- need to order mediums now but may try a large after the suggestion posted above- thank u!

steph1512 · 30/07/2010 10:13

good to hear of no leaks feedthebeast let me know how you go with the large if you get one..how much does dd weigh?

I too had high hopes for coolababy even if it was a stash topper for when things were in the wash..but maybe they will be ok later like you say

No DD has a genetic condition which affects her legs and one of the symptoms is one leg is a lot fatter than the other, unfortunatly we just couldnt get a good fit with the ittis
