cot bumpers - airwrap?

So I read a previous thread about airwraps being the thing to use, but is it safe (or any less safe) to use two? Meaning one at kinda mattress level and another one at a higher level in case they were standing up?
Basically my DB made my DD a cot, and although he used non-toxic paint etc, if she gnaws on it, it may splinter (the wood) so I would like to have something that kinda protects her from it. Otherwise may ponder getting her a new cot as soon as she can roll about (she is 24 weeks just now, and sleeps with a sleep positioner, but is just about too big for her moses basket now )

maybe try this.

I bought the airwrap but tbh it's probably not been worth it. It gave me some peace when he started rolling but wasn't able to roll back but that was a few weeks at most. It slides down (not sure if 2nd one would help) and DS uses it to pull himself up to stand (he's 8 months) and it's not that padded so he still bangs his head through it and because my cot has solid ends he bangs off them too.

Well done to your DB though, what a lovely thing to do for you.

I think that would work ok. I have one and I find it really good, although I have a cot that has rails on all 4 sides. Maybe you could ask the manufacturer, I think the Airwrap is from australia but there is a new british version and you could try phoning them - www.safedreams.co.uk.

thanks for the replies, I emailed safedreams, and between their reply and your posts, I think its best just to leave it as I'm not sure how much it will help/be safe.
