Parenting mixed-race children

White, single mother raising 2 young mixed-race children in rural west country. Looking for book/info on subject to help me make a good job of it. Any ideas?

Bex, wish I knew of a good book(s) to read too - only thing I can suggest is that you take a look at Barefoot Books selection covering all cultures/religions/etc in very child friendly way lovely books trouble is I can't remember their website you could try directory enquiries for their tel no as they are based in London. If you find anything else on your travels let me know please.

What a wonderful place to bring your kids up. Have you lived there long? Have you come accross the Women's Institute lot yet? They can usually smell a woman in need from miles off!! It's not really my thing, but they can be so helpful in putting you in touch with other mums and knowing who's who and what's what in your area. I'll look and see if my library has anything, it's usually pretty good. Whatever, you'll get loads of support on these boards!
