DD drew her first picture today - indulge me!

Am so proud I had to tell someone. First recognisable picture. It's a snowman - complete with happy face, arms, legs, hands (5 fingers on each), hair and a willy ("It's a boy snowman Mummy, like my brother").

So cute!

Up until now she's only done squiggles. This is a huge and welcome leap forward. I am hoping for many happy hours of drawing over the summer holidays....

DS2 (2.7) drew a face about 6 months ago with eyes, hair, mouth. He drew it on his aquadraw though so I took a picture of it before it faded

So sweet isn't it. I am seriously thinking of scanning it to save for posterity. And perhaps a copy by email for all blood relatives...OK maybe not.

That's so cute. I have some of my DD's artwork on the wall at work although she is still at the squiggle stage. My DH DD can write "to mummy" in the corner though...

Ha - yes not very seasonal at all. She then started on a picture of Santa! I think she is seasonally maladjusted!
