What age do you start to use products on a baby?

I have a DD and I have just been bathing her in plain water. When do you start adding baby bath, using soap or using baby lotion?

Then when you do, what do you use?

Six months or so, I use baby bath now, because it helps get the grime off the toddlers, but they don't get that mucky till you start weaning so you don't need anything till then.

I would recommend Halos N Horns baby bath, you can buy it from Asda, Tesco and Morrison and I'm sure other places. I have been using it for DD since she was 2 or 3 and her eczema was really bad. Her skin is great now but if I used anything else it would flare up. It doesn't contain any sodium laureth sulphates which it claims causes skin dryness and when I've checked other bath products for sensitive skin they do contain them. They sell a range of products although DD doesn't like the toothpaste (not sure what isn't in that). Before I discovered Halos N Horns I always felt sorry for DD as she wasn't allowed any bubbles and at first I would only let her use it once a week as a treat instead of her oilatum.
