I have a 17 month old DS and today he got up at 9am i did breakfast, he played with toys, at 11.30 i give him dinner at 12.00 i bathed him and got him dressed so i could take him to nursay as i had a cooking class at 1.30.

But when i was getting ready at 12.30 i put him in his cot and he went to sleep. He will not sleep at nursary and just crys and gets hot and upset. Im scared of him overheating when upset and fitting. I have to be careful of his temp.

So i didnt go to my course and i let him sleep and then took him to nursary when he got up.

Did i do the right thing or should i have woken him up and took him to nursary and gone to my class?

Do other Mums and Dads wake their children up if they have appointments?

Shame you missed your course. There is no right or wrong though, you do what makes your life easier that fits in with the child's comfort too.
