My son is 10months and has been on domperidone and ranitidine since 5 months. We had Paed appt and they suggested taking him off them, which we did, but now he is being really sick again. Should we go back to what we were on?

Worried that he will be on it forever!

My ds was on ranitidine and gaviscon until he was 12 months he gradually got better. I would just restart the drugs but let the consultant know you had to. They should review you and do another trial in a few months. My ds carried on being sick but that was then due to dairy intolerance rather than reflux. The consultant said that most children have grown out of reflux by a year but there are always exceptions.
