Boring techy but need help computer buffs!

I deleted an email about a week ago, is there anyway to get it back, so far i've looked in the trash can and recyclebin but I just cant find the bugger.

apparently it is possible (according to dp), but you have to rely on the piece of disk they are saved on not being overwritten... which is highly unlikely!
