I once asked DH (47, and usually very intelligent) to explain menstruation. Apparently "it's something to do with ovums and an egg" - which probably means I'll be doing the period talk with DSs and DD.

That is on a par with my 10 year old dd. I bought her nail varnish remover the other day and after showing her how to use it, she asked if she could use it on her toenails too.

I was sterilised when I had DS3, and when my next period came, DH was quite perplexed as he assumed those stopped when I had my tubes tied.
