Finding the site at the crematorium...

My dad died nearly 40 years ago and was cremated, a plaque and rose tree were planted at Enfield Crematorium. Although we've been regularly to look at the book of rememberance on his birthday it's been years since we've been to the tree and plaque and when I last went, I could not find it.

The office at the crematorium would obviously be my best bet but of course, it's saturday and they are only open monday - friday. Does anyone know if there is any other way of finding the location of a particular site? Or is it possible that it is actually no longer there?

Tomorrow, fathers day, is also my dad's birthday and I have a very huge and overwhelming urge to find this connection to him.

TIA

In our local crematorium we have to renew the lease on our plaque every five years or it is removed. If this is the case you can get it replaced. Sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case.
