oh yes, the lord of the rings. I saw each one in turn, expecting them to get better. Now I want that 7 hours of my life back.

mumtosomeone · 15/08/2005 08:17

Carmenere · 15/08/2005 09:17

Peter's Friends

paolosgirl · 15/08/2005 09:51

Sophie's Choice and Schindlers List. I know what they are about, and feel sick even thinking about that period in history.

Oh - and anything with Catherine Zeta Jones in it [barf emoticon]

flamesparrow · 15/08/2005 09:53

Oooh - Project X... all about radiation tests or something on monkeys. DH got it out saying "You'll like this, there's monkeys"

I cried most of the way through!!!

gingerbear · 15/08/2005 10:05

Reservoir Dogs - I fainted in the cinema at the ear chopping scene. DH thought that I was bored and had fallen asleep.

loulabelle222 · 15/08/2005 12:23

flamesparrow · 15/08/2005 17:34

steffee · 15/08/2005 17:40

Wrong Turn is about things in the woods.

toothyboy · 15/08/2005 17:42

Haven't read all the way through - has anyone else said Beaches? I can't even listen to that Bette Midler song, or watch the video on VH1!!!

MrsGordonRamsay · 15/08/2005 17:57

Misdee did

Does that mean you loved it or hated it ??

toothyboy · 15/08/2005 17:59

I loved it before I had ds - now I get absolutely distraught from the time you know she's going to die!

MrsGordonRamsay · 15/08/2005 18:01

I know it breaks your heart.

compo · 15/08/2005 18:25

I can't watch that film where Kevin Bacon abuses those four boys in prison. Can't remember what it is called. Sleepers? Also The Accused with Jodie Foster. Anything with rape in it scares me witless.

shalaa · 15/08/2005 20:03

Same at you Compo, anything with rape or harm to babies/children makes me feel sick.

Jaws traumatised me, still have problems swimming in the sea and even now, 12 years later I still have nightmares! Candyman freaked me out and Aliens made me sleep in my parents bed at the age of 15

henshake · 15/08/2005 20:16

I can't do horrors, especially nightmare on elm street. Watched it one night & on the way home stopped at lights, when stalled the car & thought it was Freddy who had hold of the back of the car, doh! (I'd put my hand brake on, which don't normally do).

Anything where a child could potentially be abused or hurt or killed. Or anything with rape.

The Bear - cry I was uncontrollable.

JoPG · 15/08/2005 21:05

expatinscotland - I am with you on the Blair With Project. It is a totally non scary film, but all that juddery camera movement stuff made me feel really ill. I had to dash to the loo and be sick - I think the cinema attendent thought I was pregnant or something, tho I wasn't at the time.

Nbg · 15/08/2005 21:09

I can't watch horror films.

Dh put Kill Bill on the other night and I had to turn it off. I thought it was way too OTT.

Elf1981 · 16/08/2005 13:14

I have never made it through "The Story of Us" with Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfieffer without crying.

Wont watch horror films as they scare the wits out of me. Wrong Turn was horrible!!

Oh and the new Cancer Research advert where the woman talks about how she felt a lump in her stomach and she thought it was cancerous but it turned out to be a baby - I sobbed for fifteen minutes after seeing that, much to the amusement of my DH!

babyonboard · 16/08/2005 13:28

the absolute worst is 'irreversible' which i watched at a friends house when drunk and didnt really ask much about it before we put it on..
truly shocking and sick, with a twenty minute brutal rape scene
do not watch it!

ChaCha · 16/08/2005 13:55

Any of the Poltergeist movies. Watched them as a teenager, the little old lady with the squeaky voice freaked me out!
Chuckie was pretty scary too 'Chuckie wants to watch the 9 o'clock nooos'
(Anyone see Dark Night of the Scarecrow or Witchboard as a youngster?)

Wrong Turn was pretty scary but SAW was awful!

I watched a film recently with Kevin Bacon, The Woodcutter or something like that. Absolutely gross!!!!!!! Couldn't sleep ALL night
