Candyman scared me silly. OK, sillier.

Can't watch Halloween as it scares me shitless, especially the bit near the end where she realises he is in the lounge with her. Can't watch What Dreams May Come with Robin WIlliams as it really upset me, couldnt stop crying for ages.
And could never watch THe Krays again, saw it at the pics when I was about 18 and was nearly sick - too violent.

bonym · 12/08/2005 12:47

Blue Velvet- got to the bit with Dennis Hopper in the gas mask and found it much too disturbing to watch any more.

MT, when they filmed the May morning scene on Magdalene Bridge I was there in the crowd. I've never actually paused the film to try and work out which one is me - it was a very foggy morning anyway!

I've tried several times, but am too chicken to get through The Shining

Can't bear horror films or violent films (Reservoir Dogs, Lock Stock etc) but the film that I will NEVER watch again is The Piano. I cried for literally about 5 hours after watching it, and had nights and nights of nightmares, not even because of the bit where she had her finger cut off, but where she had the metal finger attached, and she was playing the piano, and it was clicking evertime she pressed a key. For me, because that's what I do, it was just heartrending. So will never ever watch it again!

I can't watch any horror films. I used to love them, but must be turning into a right wimp in my old age.

jayzmummy · 14/08/2005 21:29

Stephen Kings Pet Cemetry and Chucky send me into a shamless Scaredy Cat!!!!

starlover · 14/08/2005 21:31

did anyone see the film "saw"?
that is the ONLY horror film that has ever given me nightmares... for about 2 weeks afterwards. it's an awful film, really horrible.
my friend rented it because she didn't believe me it was so nasty and she had nightmares too!

both of us are horror addicts!!!

starlover · 14/08/2005 21:32

and on a slightly differnet note
lord of the effing rings, extended versions. one after the bloody other.
i think i might have died while they were on

Blackduck · 14/08/2005 21:33

Relentless violence does it for me...I just feel overwhelmed and wonder why I'm watching it...

misdee · 14/08/2005 21:34

Beaches.

diva4mgl · 14/08/2005 21:35

i cant watch films too bloodthirsty, too disturbing. or somthing like Solaris, i was like what is it all about? do i have to watch George Clooney and dream about him? No story line and poor scripts. Im agree Titanic being too long, it does goes on and on....

TwoIfBySea · 14/08/2005 21:53

Sophies Choice, could watch the rest of the film just not when she has to make her choice!

Radio Flyer, simply because of the content, too distressing - I am a wimp after all!

steffee · 14/08/2005 21:57

Star Wars - never seen any of them but just think they'd be boring.

The Krays was very violent and nasty.

I didn't think Saw was too bad, The Shining and Pet Cemetary are very scary, but I have gotten through them. Wrong Turn is scary.
