My DH is similar, and birthday is coming up in September, so will watch this closely.
If he is into cars, is there anything you can get him (alloys, shiny nuts etc) or a magazine subscription (F1 maybe or sports?).
Concert or theatre tickets? Ticket to sports event coming up soon?

a night of passion is usually free... ..unless of course you wish to charge him

what about:
a nice silk tie
tickets to a sports event of his liking
a rude game (strictly for alexsmum and dad only)
flowers (if he's in touch with his 'new man' side)
night away
driving experience (might be pricy though)
whisky/brandy & 2 crystal glasses
posh tee-shirt
yourself with a bow on

AlmostAnAngel · 09/08/2005 12:32

ive always wanted to do a treasure hunt thing where you leave clues ,,to different shope etc ..so you could leave a bottle of wine behind the counter in an off licence with another clue ...this goes on until you get to the final place [bedroom] could be as cheap or as dear as you want [could end at home or hotel]

well shopped!

Davros · 10/08/2005 20:42

Sorry, coming to this too late but might help in future. BEST presents I got DH have been Full set of Tintin DVDs and Full set of Thunderbirds DVDs. I like them too! I've got him other things in the past he likes, e.g. very expensive watch, but these did the trick too.
