I was kept awake until 1am last night with the neigbours behind having a party (music and noise in their garden). It started in the afternoon at about 2 o'clock. Their nephews were playing outside in our communal play area (damaging plants, playing football in a communal area (knocking balls in front of peoples cars). The parents were there participating in this. Normally it is a quite cul de sac where we live and kids play in the communal area but would not climb over the fences and in the plants as we have to pay for its upkeep. 1am was relatively early as usually it goes on and on until much later.
AS for the noise we have this twice per year and whenever the men get back from work their music goes on and you can hear it. (They even have speakers in the shape of pebbles to enable them to hear it in the garden!)
I just think this is unacceptable. Ok have BBQ and a party but after 10/11pm turn it down. Their neighbours in the semi have a baby and young boy. We have two young kids. There are other kids and older folk who live here too.
What can we do?
