how do you cut and paste on a pc ..not wallpapering..lol!

i need to cut and paste an article but dont know how to do it ..its apparently easy ...unless you dont know how so please can anyone help ...PLEASE!!!

Highlight it, right click on it and click cut or copy.

Then put the cursor where you want it and right click, and then click paste.

IS THIS STILL POSSIBLE EVEN THOUGH ITS IN ANOTHER WINDOW?

yes go for it.

highlight and ctrl + c
click where you want to paste and ctrl + v
(ctrl + x cuts rather than copies)
