how to brush babas teeth with toothpaste for the first time

how do i do it? as ive been brushing her teething with a toothbrush for a while now (with no toothpaste) but she was sick from last weekend and she got a smelly breath
(she is 10 months old)

Put a dab of paste (baby one) on the brush and just brush her teeth...

or give her the toothpaste and chances are she'll chew/mash it around her mouth anyway

oh and no need to rinse if you use baby toothpaste

ah thats what i wanted to know about rinsing the toothpaste as i thought do i give her a bottle of water so she can drink it down but no need to now

no need to rinse, but do supervise closely as they tend to try and stick the brush in their gullet and end up gagging...
