tiffini, we had the problem of cats doing their 'thang' in our garden until...... I discovered an ultrasound gadget thing that can be purchased online. It's a little plastic construction you stick in the ground that lets out a high pitched sound that the cats simply don't like, therefore look elsewhere for their toiletting. Haven't had any probs since.
