How to I get LFC to send a card to a very poorly child?

Just that really. They don't seem to have a 'contact us' link on their website.

Child in question has a life threatening illness and is facing surgery (again) to receive a card from them would make his day.

Do any of these help? Address: Anfield Road, Liverpool, L4 0TH Main Telephone No: 0151-263-2361. Maybe they could give you a contact name to address the letter to.

No worries. Hope all goes well - for the card and the child.

I wrote to Man U for my cousins when they were going through a really tough time and Alex Ferguson sent a fantasic letter to them, they were soooo chuffed and I was very impressed! (die hard Liverpool supporter here). Hope you get a good response from them!

I see Alex Ferguson quite a lot as his family live nearby! but I think the child in question would be to get a card from him (lovely as he is!). The lad is Liverpool through and through.

If you get no joy (depends on whether they do more with requests from charities), then a fax from the hospital consultant (if you can ask on the quiet) might get their attention.

Failing that, you could possibly contact City Talk (www.citytalk.fm radio station). One presenter (Pete Price) has a late night show 22:00-02:00 Sunday to Thursday and if contact direct doesn't get anywhere, try ringing on a Sunday night (soon after 22:00 as they get busy, and you can hopefully talk to him off air). 0151 708 1059 is their number.

They ring back, but get some odd calls on (drunk/ drugged callers), but Sunday night doesn't have a set theme, so they're free to take all sorts of calls. If you ring early, there's better chance of Pete ringing back "early", as you might curse the phone ringing and waking the house up way after midnight, IYSWIM. Do be sure to disable any answerphone as that's a 'hanging offence' and they would not ring back.

Hope things go smoothly, and lad gets some LFC memorabilia. Good luck.

You could try one of the above email addresses and also try contacting them through LinkedIn, I imagine they have some online/press office staff listed on there.

Here is Twitter page twitter.com/LFCTV, I will tweet them a link to this thread so maybe they will pick it up. I am sure they will if other MNers do the same.

Ewe · 10/05/2010 09:58

They came back to me and said the [email protected] email address is the right one to go through.

"LFCTV customer services (2nd email) will pass on to right dept. Any problems let me know & I'll follow up Matt"

Very helpful! Hope you manage to get it sorted, a lovely thing to do.

Oh Thanks Ewe and Networkguy.
Will let you know how things work out.
