how do you make playdough that u don't have to cook?

2 cups of plain flour, 1 cup of salt, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, 1 cup water, a drop or two of food colouring if you like. Mix dry stuff together then wet stuff. Mix and knead. Leave in fridge for an hour ideally. You may need to spread extra flour on the table if a bit sticky to start with.

What are the actual mesurements for cups. I have been told before but forgot. Or is it just a proper cup you use?

I am so dim at times!

I just use an average size mug and add a bit of flour during the kneading and'or on the table forthe kids if it's too sticky. It always comes out just fine and masterpieces can be baked slowly in the oven, cooled and painted too.

8 fl oz is what I take it to mean, Nbg (it's half a US pint).

Why do you not want to cook it though?
