What do i do with a postal order?

I got one for payment for something i sold on ebay. I've never seen one before, what do i do with it?

Give it in at the post office, they get you to sign it and give you the cash

Just take it to the post office and they give you the cash for it

btw if it is crossed you can only pay it into a bank account. Most aren't but I have had at least one that was from ebay.
