Does this weather make you want to emigrate?

Dh is sooo fed up, not just with the weather but with rip-off GB in general...has anyone else felt the same and looked into emigrating? Where in the world is most like England culturally, but with better weather? Don't mind snow in winter, so long as year-round weather isn't grey and rainy! Canada? Australia? New Zealand? Somewhere in Europe? Anyone?

SecondhandRose, I'm in sunny Brighton - when the weather's nice I think, God how liberating to be able to eat/walk/whatever outside in the evenings...really makes me wish for pleasanter weather more often!

Come and live in Belgium - we have twice as much rain as you do!

having last posted how cold and horrible Friday was - the weekend and now today - a lovelysunny 25 degrees..... winter sigh!!

ok so that's Belgium a definite no, and Brisbane a possibility. Just bought 'Fresh start' magazine to read about emigrating to Oz.
