so... how many of us are on FB.... i sit and wonder sometimes... are all these people actually my friends?? do i even really like them..LOL I have more contact with my sister now than ever but d i actually like her? I dont think I do.... Is that an awful ting to say/ think.. do i like any of them... am i even ineterested in what everyone has to say... should i come off it or will i then be totally out the loop then.....Q's Q's Q's old friends from scool... then you see people in the street and think bugger dont let them see me i dont want to chat but will happily comment on their status.. LOL its all a mystery to me.......

I think it's really healthy to have as wide a range of influences and opinions as possible. It's really good to be exposed to people you don't like - hopefully it feeds your empathy levels and makes you wiser.

I actually think that social networks are a wonderful thing and we haven't quite worked out the full extent of this yet. For a start, they will shape the frame of reference for young people so that they view the world in a systems thinking way, rather than our old and fading reductionist capacity.

Facebook is a crude and early but amazing window to the future. Stick with it - it's doing good things to your brain
