Please Help!. Major prob with ford focus!

Slowing down from 60 coming to round a bout, clutch started shaking..changing gear, revs are going mad..wirring round everytime i change and try to apply pressure to accelerate.

Has been suggested clutch is slipping/on its way out...we really are on the bread line at the minute, does anyone have any idea what this is going to cost us .

Well if its built;t the same as Mondeo, the clutch lasts to 120k miles and dies. Then you scrap the Mondeo cos its an engine and geabox out job to replace the clutch, about £600, and at that point, 120k miles, the car is only worth about £800.

Whats the mileage on the clock an dhow accurate do you think it is?
