SoupDragon · 26/06/2003 09:43

HEY!! There's a convey of Police cars heading to your house Breeze.... they don't know what crime you've committed, but with a mug shot like that they just know you need lockin up...

breeze · 26/06/2003 09:57

yes battering a friend (who I have never met) because she sent the paper a dodgy photo.

Still Dh annoyed because they cut him out.

If the paper had contacted me when they were supposed to I would have send in a half decent photo. Still DH lost 2 years in the process as well.

M2T · 26/06/2003 10:02

LOL.... he should be well pleased then. I'm down as a Planning Engineer..... but I'm a TRAINEE. So I've been given a promotion too.

The article is very nicely written though. Big Thank You to the Journalist... who is a fellow Mumsnetter BTW.

breeze · 26/06/2003 10:06

Yes agree, it was well written.

Tasa · 26/06/2003 10:36

Hi it was me who wrote it. Thank you for nice comments. Anyone else wanting a lovely photo of their extended family in Sunday Express magazine and who loves their in-laws or has got to love their in-laws please get in touch.

M2T · 26/06/2003 10:59

Tasa - Dp thinks the story is great. He was a bit sceptical at first, but now sees that it's nice to be able to share my our story.
And it's obviously good to give Mumsnet a wee bit publicity too.

donnie · 26/06/2003 11:37

not sure the Express is the ideal place though, seeing as it's owned by that nice Mr Desmond, Porn Baron Extraordinare.......is any publicity good publicity ?????not trying to be provocative but I really believe we should not boost the finances of people who propogate porn.

princesspeahead · 26/06/2003 11:43

so don't buy it!

much as I assume you don't buy porn, although others do

M2T · 26/06/2003 12:40

Donnie. It was lovely story that I wanted to share. I'm pleased with the article and so why did you post this on here? If you have a problem with the Express Newpaper then organise a wee rally of your own. We've had enough of other people putting dampners on nice threads so please don't do it here too.

breeze · 26/06/2003 13:02

Another thread bites the dust, another thread bites the dust yeah.

M2T · 26/06/2003 13:05

Dismal, isn't it breeze?

breeze · 26/06/2003 13:06

yep

Just one question, now you have your own page in the express, will you pleeeaaasssseeeee stop all this attention seeking

M2T · 26/06/2003 13:08

I do try Breeze. But what with all our fame surely now you too can appreciate it.

GeorginaA · 26/06/2003 13:08

LOL ... well I've had two hits on my blog this morning for "daily express mumsnet" - apologies to whoever that was that you didn't find a copy of the article!
