Well after a few weeks of nothing, me and my sister went to tesco, when we got back they were all outside and threw waterbombs at us, making strange noises, comments and when DH opened the door they said 'get back inside you pussy' remind me why I am putting u0p with this............

Are these adults throwing waterbombs? We've had a spate of kids throwing them round here.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 17:54

yes Adults (if you can call them that)

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 18:08

they are pathetic, I know that, but its horrible being shouted as you are going into your house

OP posts:
assumedname · 21/07/2005 18:15

Horrible situation.

SoupDragon · 21/07/2005 18:17

Just smile serenely at them and think of your new house

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 18:20

I don't even look at them, I just ignore them, is that the right thing to do???

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 21/07/2005 18:23

Yeah, I think so.

Tempting as it would be to smile serenely, wave and say "good morning! Isn't it a lovely day." in a cheerful voce, it's better to ignore them.

SoupDragon · 21/07/2005 18:24

Try not to scurry or look as if it's bothered you though. Easier said than done.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 18:29

was thinking about asking the council if I can get 6 ft panels put up in the front, but I don' t think I'll be allowed

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 18:31

I just walk in normally, I don't let them see me scared, I know what they are trying to do, they see that DH is scared to go out and they are trying to scare me into not going out too........ Pathetic twats!!!!!

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 21/07/2005 18:32

Personally I think it would spur them on to other things. like kicking in fence panels.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 18:34

Thats what i thought, I hate these open plan front gardens, you feel like they are watching you all the time.........

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 22:57

I don't wanna be here anymore

OP posts:
misdee · 21/07/2005 23:01

how sad!!

keep focusing on that house.

spacecadet · 21/07/2005 23:08

immature wasters..soopdragon is right though, ignore them, keep focusing on that lovely new house.
i know its hard.

champs · 21/07/2005 23:22

grrrr!! just think, you'll be gone soon. when they stary just think of all the things you want to do in new house. How you're going to decorate etc.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 23:28

I just want to go up to them and said 'you do realise that what you are doing is breaking about 7 rules of your parent's tenant agreement' but that will make it worse

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 23:29

did think about taking the page out of the tenants handbook and underlining all the rules they are breaking and posting it through the door

OP posts:
champs · 21/07/2005 23:30

dont talk to them! hard as it is. I would want to give them a right talking to but thaey just want a rise out of you.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 23:31

But ignoring doesn't seem to be working,. they still are giving us grief.........

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 23:32

champs look here

OP posts:
Nbg · 21/07/2005 23:36

If it happens again just maintain eye contact with whoever you are with keep talking to them and laugh if you can.
Totally ignore their presence. They'll expect you to look at them.

sparklymieow · 21/07/2005 23:42

normally I have the kids with me, so I just keep talking to them, I just blank them, I don't look at them and just walk into the house, I thought they might be bored by now............
