Sleeping around

Just curious really. There seems to be a lot of judgement on people who sleep around but what exactly defines sleeping around? I mean is it anyone who has a one night stand, is it shagging more than one person regularly, is it if you have so many one night stands over a specific amount of time. It's quite a generic term isn't it really. And what is your opinion on people who do these things and "sleep around"? Do you think it is an OK thing to do or do you secretly judge them?

I think some people are quite bitchy and would describe someone else as sleeping around out of jealousy that they might be getting more sex than they are.

I can honestly say I have never seen any judgement against "sleeping around" on Mumsnet

I thought you were talking specifically about MN...I find there is a lot of tolerance on here for different lifestyles, as long as no-one gets hurt

I agree in RL, there does seem to be judgement when women do it, but much less so for men

You're right, it isn't really defined by x amount of times over y amount of time.

It's more an opinion, which is going to vary from person to person. Why do you ask?
