I used to work for a publishers and proposals did take a while to get considered, cos they had to research the marketing angle and then it would go to a monthly meeting for decision ..
No news is certainly not bad news, I'd remind agents you are hanging on, but don't panic!

yes three months sounds about right and don't forget it's summer now and no one does anything constructive until at least October

We used to do the marketing stuff at proposal stage (legal texts) but your guys are looking at it now, all I was really saying is (like the others) it takes time ...
More nasty waits when it's being edited, typset, at the printers ... but something great to look forward to! what fun, I am v
